AfID now in South America

Accounting for International Development has now expanded its volunteering programme to South America. Our new partners in Peru, Nicaragua and Bolivia have several health and education programmes to help the most needy. We are looking for Spanish speaking volunteers for them, please let us know if you are interested!

Last week when the power was out, I was taken to one of the projects that RHCF works on. One of their main activities is building wells in small, disadvantaged communities and it was one such village that we visited to check up on the people who had been elected to care for the well. The impact of the well on peoples’ lives was immediately evident, it was surrounded by large water containers and was obviously in regular use.
