EducAid provides education to some of the poorest young people in Sierra Leone. They provide the only free secondary school in Sierra Leone. The school caters for over 1400 people who have been seriously affected by the war.
 
Among there pupils there are
  • Ex- combatants
  • Girl Mothers
  • Orphans
  • Refugees and displaced people
  • Poor people from the local community  
 
EducAid tries to remove the barriers and make it possible for young people to access education. EducAid covers all educational costs and provides free tuition
and materials as well as extra lessons for exam classes; free lunch every day and essential medicines when necessary.  
 
They believe that access to education promotes dignity and empowerment. They believe that through holistic and academic learning, it is possible to achieve improvement in personal, social and economic well being.
 
There holistic programme of activities ensures that everyone has the opportunity to develop academically, socially, spiritually, creatively, physically and mentally.
 
EducAid has become a family to many youngsters whose own families have been lost, scattered through the war or broken down.
