Little Angels Community School


Based in Ndola, Zambia, Little Angels Community School provides high quality education to young children in the community. Supplementing the Zambian government’s efforts to provide good education, the Community School also acts as a recreation centre for youths.

 

Besides these objectives, Little Angels Community school also advocates for children’s rights and acts as a resource centre for information on HIV/AIDS.
 

Applying a holistic approach to its mission, the Community School is involved in a variety of activities, its main projects are:

 

  • A Pre - and Nursery - school, which caters for children from three to six years, preparing children to attend grade one of the Little Angels Community School.

 

  • The Community School itself, which runs from grade one to grade seven, and has delivered its fifth grade seven 2009. Through the years, the Community School has successfully sent a good number of its children into Secondary Schools.

 

  • A nutrition centre for under-five children who are malnourished. By supplying formula milk and other food stuffs this programme has helped to save the lives of many babies.

 

  • Income Generating Activities in agriculture for the children’s parents and guardians.
