MaD Cambodia – Making a Difference for Good! - is a community based non profit organization working in Cambodia. MaD works in partnership with rural communities with the primary aim of empowering individuals, families and villages with the knowledge and resources they need to build themselves a future free from poverty. Despite decades of war, genocide and widespread poverty, a big welcoming smile is never far away in this young nation, where more than half the population is under 20 years of age.

Since MaD was born in December 2007, it has worked with more than 100 international volunteers on a wide range of projects including water, sanitation, building, sustainable agriculture, healthcare, vocational training, teaching & orphanages.

MaD focuses its efforts on two main charitable programs:

Rural Community Development Program

Working in partnership with rural communities on the household level, helping to provide access to clean water, hygienic sanitation facilities and safe residential housing.

Children's Welfare Program

Includes child care, English language tuition, and a mobile health and hygiene clinic offering regular checkups, medical treatments and educational services at local schools and children's centres.

MaD Cambodia also undertakes a range of activities to help raise funds, support and raise awareness for the charitable work, which include vMaD International Volunteer Program, MaD Tuk Tuk Challenge. All profit's support MaD's charitable work. MaD also has office staff based in the UK.
