The Pari Project

Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Helps NGOs play a key role in poverty reduction

Pari was inspired by visits in early 2008 to grassroots NGOs that were caring for children. The facilities were often ramshackle, the staff under-trained, and the programs undeveloped. Founder Allie Hoffman was deeply concerned about the role these NGOs were playing in the children’s lives. Pari was founded in 2008 as a direct response to the ability of NGOs to play a key role in poverty reduction.

Pari’s vision is to build the capacity of the local NGO sector; to achieve this, they provide different development services:

  •  fund raising
  • marketing and branding
  • organisational development

Pari services are specially tailored, and designed to meet each partner’s individual needs. Pari opens up to its partner organisations resources, and its unique approach to social entrepreneurship ensures that their services improve each client organisation’s transparency, accountability and efficiency.

Pari is directed and staffed by a team of socially minded development professionals, who have dedicated their lives and their work to the fight against poverty. Pari believes in each organisation it serves and the power they have to change the lives of the most vulnerable.

Pari works with humanitarian organisations in Asia and Africa.
