This is an opportunity based in London reviewing and completing 4-5 large institutional donor funded project audits (DFID, EU, Comic Relief) other project audit scoping will feature. These will be mostly Africa based projects.
Our partner needs support with completing four audits currently outstanding, due to be completed over the next 1-2 months. The accountant will tackle all aspects of project audits in order to ensure that they are completed on time and meet the donor’s specifications.
Assistance will include:
- Agreeing and drafting terms of reference with donors and auditors
- Agreeing timetable with auditors for completion of the work
- Reviewing draft reports and addressing any exceptions noted
- Working closely with programmes staff and regional offices
