This is an opportunity based remotely (however the accountant will need to be accessible to South West / Central London areas for meetings).
Duration of the assignment is flexible from 2-4 weeks part time or full time.
Our charity partner would require support to perform:
- Organisational needs assessment / internal audit
- Preparing for an external audit
- Bookkeeping and cash management
- Account reconciliations
- Internal controls and financial & tax procedures
- Creating programme budgets
- Creating organisational budgets
- Cash flow budgeting
- Budget-to-actual reporting
- Internal reporting
- Donor reporting
- Division of staff duties / responsibilities
- Training on IT / accounting systems
- MSExcel training
- Coordinate and recommend improvement in quality of accounting and provide operational support.
- Evaluate all physical contracts with products and billing plans.
- Organize customer contracts and evaluate all agreements and invoices.
- With an experience of working in the International Development sector or one interested in the sector.
- An experience/interest in supply chain management and business development will be valuable.
